PHA - Chapter 256 - Chaotic Scene

Apart from the Four Heavenly Kings, very few people actually knew about Alice's identity as the Demon King. While Gel might be the Heavenly King of Water's close aide, he wasn't made aware of the Demon King's real identity and appearance. He only knew that the Demon King's image shared on the internet was fake.

However, Alice's face was one that Gel recognized. He had met her when he was receiving a periodic shipment from a smuggling convoy. At the time, he merely thought Alice to be an ordinary young lady from a noble house who was here to sightsee in the demon realm. He thought that she would return crying in only a few days.

Unfortunately, Gel never got the chance to meet Alice again later on. Even so, he didn't really put the matter to heart. While he might not hold any deep hatred toward humans, he wasn't the type of person who'd care about weak humans.

The next time Gel saw a picture of Alice was when she was officially announced as the Gryffin Kingdom's princess. As the supervisor of the demon realm's biggest supermarket chain and the Acura Kingdom's smuggling operations in the human realm, Gel naturally had to pay attention to the ongoings in the human realm. So, when pictures of the new Gryffin Princess started circulating in the human realm, Gel had naturally seen them.

At the time, Gel had been quite shocked to learn that the little girl who had followed a smuggling convoy to the demon realm turned out to be a princess in the human realm. However, thinking that he might never have any dealings with Alice in the future, he didn't put too much thought into it.

Never did Gel think that he would meet with Alice again so soon. Moreover, their meeting this time had shocked him to an unprecedented extent.

"Kamia, don't tell me this person is…your boyfriend?"

At this time, Gel no longer gave off the calm and mysterious feeling he did when Alice first met him. Instead, he wore a dumbfounded expression on his face while gripping his chest with his hand, his appearance making it seem as if he had just heard
