PHA - Chapter 206 - Figurine Demon King Andusia

The reason Alice considered the object before her a figurine rather than a statue was due to its small size. It was also very detailed and shaped like a girl. Although Alice hadn't read much of this world's novels, manga, and anime, she still recognized who the figurine was modeled after—she was the main heroine of a certain anime.

The anime in question was seemingly very popular, and it was practically considered a national-level animation. Alice had also seen many emojis in the heroine's design on LINK. Hence, even though Alice had never watched the anime or even heard of its name before, she still recognized the character the figurine was modeled after.

Normally, one would only use such figurines as a memento. Aside from viewing purposes, it should serve no other function. Yet, when Alice inspected it with Psychokinesis Transcendence, she found the presence of a considerable amount of mana within this figurine.

This was an intriguing situation. After all, there was only one scenario for an item such as a figurine to house mana—it was being used as a medium to cast magic. However, even if that were the case, there should still be mana flowing out of this figurine. Yet, that did not happen with this figurine. All of its mana was thoroughly isolated within it.

Alice was almost certain that there was something suspicious with this figurine. Although there were a few other decorations in the living room that carried residual mana, according to the feedback Alice got from Psychokinetic Transcendence, this residual mana basically existed only on the surface of these decorations. Their situations were worlds apart from the figurine's situation.

Immediately, Alice walked over to the figurine. The figurine was placed in a wine cabinet in the living room, along with a few bottles of red wine and several other figurines. Judging by the state of the figurine, it should have been placed there not long ago.
