Special District 9 Chapter 58: The Kidnapped Receiver

Qin Yu, Old Cat, and Qi Lin ran over to the windowsill along the third-floor corridor and looked down. There was a platform on the second floor right below the window. The kidnappers must have leaped down to the platform before taking the stairs beside it down to the first floor.

Looking a little further ahead, Qin Yu saw that the goatskin windbreaker young man dragging Kang-ge to the opposite end of the street. They were about to walk into an alley.

“Kang-ge must be in a very dangerous situation if he told us to save him,” Qi Lin told the other two anxiously. “We must save him, or else everything we have done would have been in vain!”

Qin Yu understood what Qi Lin meant. They didn’t have to luxury to hesitate and carefully think this matter through, or else the kidnappers would really slip past them. So, he turned to Old Cat and instructed, “You’ll drive the car over. Qi Lin and I will follow them to take a look.”

“Take care of yourselves!” Old Cat said.

“Contact us after you get the car,” Qin Yu instructed as he climbed up the windowsill. He beckoned to Qi Lin and said, “Let’s go!”

Following that, the two of them jumped down one after another. On the other hand, Old Cat turned around and rushed toward the stairs.

After turning at two bends, just as he was about to reach the stairway, he suddenly heard footsteps heading in his direction. In the next moment, seven young men dressed in the white uniform of Platinum Castle rushed up to the third floor with weapons in hand.

The two sides stared at one another for a brief moment.

The sharp-witted Old Cat reacted quickly. He pointed to the corridor and shouted anxiously, “You all are finally here! There was a group of bastards who fired their gun and kidnapped a man. They ran over there and escaped from the window!”

“How many people do they have?” the leader of the group asked with a frown.

“I didn’t see clearly, but there should be around four to five of them,” Old Cat said as he quickly cleared the path for them to pass.
