PBS - Chapter 2300 - Two Strange Old Men

Four days later, Qin Nan and Ji Jinzi arrived at the inner sector of the Middle Mysterious Realm.

Their speed had dropped significantly.

They had noticed the seven-colored light's effects had weakened a lot. They were starting to trigger deadly traps when they passed by them. The ferocious beasts and mysterious existences they passed would wake up and look around them suspiciously too.

Even though they were not in any danger, they did not dare to take the risk.

The deadly traps they encountered had unleashed auras stronger than the Ruler Realm. They were most likely around the level of the Heaven Highness Realm.

The consequences would be unimaginable if an accident did happen.

On the other hand, Qin Nan also discovered Ji Jinzi was the complete opposite of Empress Feiyue. The former was talking non-stop throughout the journey. She was asking everything about Qin Nan's life.

However, perhaps because Ji Jinzi was occupying Empress Feiyue's flesh, Qin Nan was not annoyed by her. He was surprisingly talkative too.

"I remember we just passed this spot. How did we end up here again? Did we fall into a trap?" Ji Jinzi said.

"It's possible. Stay behind me," Qin Nan said softly and took the lead.

Ji Jinzi's lips curled upward. Wasn't her cultivation stronger than his?

Did he really ask her to stay behind him?

She followed Qin Nan's order obediently instead of pointing it out.

The two eventually returned to the same spot.

"It seems like we are trapped in some kind of illusion," Qin Nan said.

If it was a deadly trap, they would long be in danger.
