The person talking was Supreme Rudao.

Qin Nan was completely stunned after hearing how she was addressing him. He even wondered if he had heard it wrong.

Why would Supreme Rudao call him her husband?

"Ugh, I knew it. It's too much of a surprise that you can't even react in time. I forgot to tell you before, whoever that refines the Dao-Melting Immortal Flames will have to become my husband."

Supreme Rudao blinked, "Don't worry, your cultivation might be weak still, but that won't be a problem. I won't pick on you because of it too."

Qin Nan was lost in his thoughts for some time. He eventually recovered, but he was still stammering, "Well...Senior Rudao...I...I didn't know..."

Supreme Rudao straightened her face and harrumphed coldly, "Still calling me senior?"

"Ugh, Meng...Mengyao..."

Qin Nan quickly changed the way he addressed the woman. He collected himself and said with a wry smile, "Mengyao, I think it's too sudden for me. Besides..."

Supreme Rudao interrupted displeasedly before he could finish, "What is it? You're not willing to become my partner? Or do you think I'm not worthy to be your woman?"

She purposely emphasized the words "not worthy".

"No...no...of course not..."

Qin Nan subconsciously shook his head. However, he realized what he said would further worsen the situation. He took a deep breath to calm his thoughts and said, "Mengyao, the thing is, I already have partners."

Supreme Rudao was stunned, "Who are they?"

The old man mentioned that even if she exceeded the Nine Heavens Supreme Realm, she was still unworthy to become Qin Nan's partner.

Was there any woman that was worthy to be his partner?

Qin Nan hesitated a little before he briefly explained the relationship between him, Princess Miao Miao, and Jiang Bilan.

The situation was completely out of his expectations. He could only tell Supreme Rudao the truth so she would give up on the thought.

"Not bad, they are willing to sacrifice themselves for their loved one. They are indeed worthy enough to be your partners."
