Through Sword Pellets, not only could disciples learn their teachers' sword art, the pellets could also be activated during critical times to save their lives. Additionally, Sword Pellets could replace Blood Condensing Pellets for sword cultivators.

Therefore, as a sword sect, the Sky Cleaving Sword Sect naturally would have preserved the methods to concoct Sword Pellets. So, it wasn't a surprise that this alchemist knew about battle pellets.
