Necromancer: I Am A Disaster Chapter 36 - This Is What Efficiency Looks Like

The oppressive atmosphere made it hard for Xia Xue to breathe. As the terrifying monster paced back and forth behind the large iron gate, her legs nearly gave out.

Thanks to the Detection spell, the enhanced elite monster's attributes were clearly displayed. It was nothing like the monsters in the ordinary rank dungeon—both in appearance and attributes.

Xia Xue stared at Lin Moyu in shock, "This is a nightmare rank difficulty. Are you sure you didn't make a mistake?"

Lin Moyu replied calmly, "I'm sure."

He didn't make a mistake... Did he seriously believe the two of them could survive the nightmare rank dungeon? Just seeing the monster’s attributes made Xia Xue’s teeth clench with fear.

"Are you insane? We're going to die!" She blurted out.

Lin Moyu didn’t respond, nor did he seem concerned with Xia Xue's panic, "In a moment, we'll be running."

What? Running? Xia Xue was too stunned to react.

The enhanced elite monster locked its gaze on her, and a wave of terror swept over her. If not for the fear of being mocked by Lin Moyu, she would’ve fled the dungeon immediately.

Just then, a large group of Skeletal Warriors materialized in the room. At the same time, Lin Moyu also summoned new skeletons. In the blink of an eye, 80 skeletons filled half the room.

Before Xia Xue could process what was happening, Lin Moyu opened the gate. The skeletal army surged forward, charging into the tunnel like soldiers heading to war.

Lin Moyu seemed unfazed, clearly accustomed to this routine. The elite monster, distracted by the Skeletal Warriors, bolted after them, disappearing from sight in an instant.

"Follow me." Lin Moyu stated and then started running.

Xia Xue stood there, stunned. What was going on? Could one really raid a dungeon like this?

"Hurry up! You're not scared, are you?!" Lin Moyu's voice echoed from the tunnel ahead.

"I'm not scared! I won’t lose to you!" Xia Xue stomped her feet and snapped, quickly catching up with him. A surge of defiance stirred in her chest.

Ahead of them, a colossal behemoth lumbered through the dungeon. The Skeletal Warriors ran at the front, followed by enhanced elite monsters, with Lin Moyu and Xia Xue bringing up the rear.

As they ran, Xia Xue couldn’t hold back her confusion any longer and asked, "What exactly are you doing?"

Lin Moyu replied in a calm, matter-of-fact tone, "Dungeon running."

His simple answer left her speechless.

After running for a while, they caught sight of the Mine Wolf King, the dungeon’s leader monster. The nightmare rank version was far larger and more imposing than its ordinary rank counterpart. Xia Xue didn’t need the Detection spell to know how powerful it was.

The Skeletal Warriors reached the Mine Wolf King first. As it attacked them ferociously, the skeletons kept running without fighting back.

"Why aren't they fighting back?" Xia Xue asked, bewildered by their resilience.

Lin Moyu’s voice was cool and steady as he commanded the skeletons, "Get ready."

Just then, as the monsters chasing them closed in, several Skeletal Warriors suddenly activated their skill in unison. In a flash, they killed one of the enhanced elite monsters and then threw its corpse into the air.

At that exact moment, Lin Moyu raised his hand.

Skill: Corpse Explosion!

Boom!

A deafening blast echoed through the dungeon, startling Xia Xue. She watched in disbelief as a flood of notifications rolled in—her EXP skyrocketing. In the blink of an eye, her EXP had surged by 30%.

Xia Xue stood there, dumbfounded. Was this really how dungeon running worked? What was happening?

Boom! Boom!

More explosions followed, each louder than the last. The massive Mine Wolf King, a creature that had seemed so terrifying just moments ago, crumpled to the ground with a pitiful wail.

"It’s dead." Xia Xue blinked, still trying to process what just happened, "It was killed so easily?"

Her mind flashed back to a previous encounter with the ordinary rank Mine Wolf King. It had taken her carefully coordinated party of three more than 20 grueling minutes to take it down. But now, Lin Moyu had destroyed its nightmare rank version in mere moments.

Her body went numb with shock. She suddenly remembered this wasn’t ordinary rank difficulty—it was nightmare rank. The difficulty here was supposed to be leagues beyond anything she'd ever faced. And yet, Lin Moyu had made it look effortless.

A tingling sensation ran from the soles of her feet all the way to her scalp, as if she'd been electrocuted. Was this really a dungeon raid? Or just a casual stroll through one's backyard?

Without even glancing at her, Lin Moyu waved his hand and said, “Let’s go.”

The Skeletal Warriors darted off toward the mine pit. Xia Xue quickly snapped out of her daze, hurrying to follow Lin Moyu.

"You... have you been soloing the nightmare rank dungeon all this time?" She asked, her voice shaky with disbelief.

If she hadn't witnessed it herself, Xia Xue would never have believed it. The idea of a level 10-plus class user soloing a nightmare rank dungeon was beyond comprehension—something that had never happened before.

Lin Moyu replied calmly, "Yes."

Xia Xue pressed further, struggling to wrap her mind around it, "Since level 10?"

"That's right." Lin Moyu confirmed, his tone as steady as ever.

It all clicked into place for her then. That was how he leveled up so fast. While she had been slogging through the novice dungeon, Lin Moyu had likely been soloing this dungeon, and at nightmare rank difficulty to boot. If not for the cooldown restriction, he’d probably already be level 20 by now.

His efficiency was mind-boggling.

In just 10 minutes after entering the dungeon, they had already reached the dungeon’s final boss. Xia Xue thought back to her previous raids in the ordinary rank dungeon. It took her party over an hour to get to this point.

Ahead of them loomed the final boss—the giant Goblin King, its oppressive aura radiating throughout the room.

Without hesitation, Lin Moyu’s Skeletal Warriors rushed toward the boss like an angry hive of hornets, dragging a horde of monsters behind them.

In moments, a dozen thunderous explosions rocked the dungeon, followed by silence.

A soft glow illuminated Lin Moyu, signifying that he had leveled up.
