Necromancer: I Am A Disaster Chapter 29 - Move, Or Die!

"Hey, what are you doing? Come back. You can’t provoke Dynasty Guild—it's too dangerous. You're risking your life!" Wang Yi anxiously grabbed at Lin Moyu, trying to pull him back.

Lin Moyu, unfazed, ignored him and kept walking. The crowd protesting suddenly fell silent, their eyes fixed on him.

With the Skeletal Warrior clattering at his side, Lin Moyu strode toward the dungeon.

"What do you think you're doing?" The Mage leading Dynasty Guild glared at Lin Moyu.

Behind him, over a dozen Dynasty Guild members fixed their eyes on Lin Moyu. They were all level 20 and above, radiating extraordinary pressure.

The group included Knights, Warriors, Mages, Archers, and more, forming a comprehensive combat party. Clad in bronze rank equipment from weapons to armor, they exuded confidence. This was why, despite the growing protests, no one dared to act.

The protesters knew they stood no chance—whether in levels, party strength, equipment, or skills. Their only option was verbal protest.

Lin Moyu stopped in front of the Mage and spoke coolly, "Move aside."

The Mage’s lip curled in amusement, "You must be drunk, kid. Go home."

Lin Moyu carried on, "If you block my way, I will kill you."

He wasn’t bluffing. He had to enter the dungeon to level up, a key step in securing his admission to Xiajing Academy. Anyone in his way would be dealt with, no exceptions.

The Mage cast the Detection spell on Lin Moyu, then sneered, "You're just a level 12 brat. Didn't your parents teach you manners? Necromancer? Never heard of it. A new class, huh? And undead summon? How cute. Since we’re both Mages, I’ll spare your life this time. Now, scram."

The opponent's level surpassed Lin Moyu's by more than 10 level, rendering the Cloaking Badge ineffective. The crowd now knew Lin Moyu was only level 12—and soloing a dungeon at that! Impossible!

Some in the crowd began to suspect Lin Moyu's class had incredible potential.

Lin Moyu used the Detection spell as well. Without a Cloaking Badge, the Mage’s details were revealed.

[Zhao Ji, level 25, Mage]

He wasn’t an Elemental Mage like Xia Xue, just an ordinary Mage with an intermediate class. Although he was level 25, Lin Moyu still didn’t take him seriously.

Zhao Ji smiled grimly. The other members of Dynasty Guild behind him sneered.

"Level 12? You're still wet behind the ears. Go back to your mommy, brat."

"This isn’t a place for someone like you. Watch yourself, or you might lose your life."

"Go hunt some monsters in the wilderness. The dungeon’s off-limits for now."

A person who had protested earlier called out from the crowd, "Kid, don’t mess with them. Dynasty Guild doesn’t care about reason—they’ll kill you without hesitation."

Wang Yi shouted desperately, "Brother, come back! We’ll enter the dungeon once they’re gone!"

Lin Moyu ignored the warnings, his voice turning cold, "Last chance. Move, or die."

Zhao Ji felt a sudden chill at Lin Moyu’s words, his heart skipping a beat. For a moment, it was as if Lin Moyu saw him as nothing more than a monster.

Then Zhao Ji snapped back, rage bubbling up, "You little punk! Take one more step, and you're dead!"

Lin Moyu’s lips curved slightly, "Go ahead."

With that, the Skeletal Warrior shot forward like lightning, closing the distance in a flash and striking with its blade.

Zhao Ji's sneer deepened. At the same time, a pale blue shield formed around him. "You can’t even break my shield, brat."

But then the Skeletal Warrior’s blade collided with the shield, warping it severely, almost shattering it in one blow. Zhao Ji’s smirk vanished.

What kind of summon was this? His shield could normally withstand five hits from Warriors of his level, but it would hardly survive another strike from the undead summon.

"Use your skill!"

Lin Moyu willed it, and the blade of the Skeletal Warrior flared with a blinding red light.

Skill: Berserk Strike.

Zhao Ji froze in terror, never imagining that the summon could also unleash skills. A wave of dread washed over him—he had a sense of imminent death. Under this attack, not only would his shield shatter, but his life would be forfeit.

Skill: Fire Ring of Repulsion!

Zhao Ji unleashed another skill, and a ring of fire exploded outward, forcefully pushing the Skeletal Warrior back several meters, interrupting its skill.

"What are you waiting for? Attack!" Zhao Ji, pale and shaken, felt as if he'd just escaped death itself. He shouted desperately.

A nearby Knight activated Charge, shield raised, and crossed over a dozen-plus meters in an instant, crashing into the Skeletal Warrior.

Bang!

With a shriek, the Knight was sent flying, while the Skeletal Warrior remained unmoved. In terms of raw strength, the Skeletal Warrior held a crushing advantage.

Unless it was a skill like Fire Ring of Repulsion, which forcibly pushed opponents away, strength alone decided the victor.

Following Lin Moyu’s command, the Skeletal Warrior charged at Zhao Ji again.

Zhao Ji scrambled backward, reinforcing his shield while shouting, "Kill the Summoner!"

The surest way to defeat a Summoner was not by killing their summons but by targeting the Summoner directly. Once the Summoner fell, the summons would vanish.

Thud!

Two Archers loosed their arrows simultaneously. The arrows split into three in midair, transforming into streaks of light aimed at Lin Moyu.

"Look out!"

"Dodge!"

Someone shouted from behind, but Lin Moyu didn’t move. His expression remained completely unchanged.
