Translator Notes

As mentioned in a previous chapter, I intentionally kept the term 'this subject' as it is. I feel that it accurately portrays Chen Chao's intentions and tone. He constantly refers to himself as a subject, showing deference to the Emperor, indirectly reminding him that he's a subject.
