TOOLATE - Book 04 Chapter 048: Heart Maze

After hearing Chen Heng’s words, Shining’s mood immediately turned bad, her face darkening. Just as she was about to draw her sword, she remembered she had not fixed it yet; it was currently in two pieces.

“Don’t get agitated. Never get agitated. Although I don’t know how effective this medicine will be, I know it will absolutely not harm Nightingale. I can guarantee this.”

When Chen Heng saw that Shining was so angry that she wanted to draw her sword, he quickly explained to salvage the situation.

After hearing Chen Heng’s explanation, Shining pushed back the sword, which she already had pulled out by ten centimeters. After all, a broken sword still could kill.

Of course, Shining would not actually kill Chen Heng. However, she would at least teach him a lesson, perhaps by changing his hairstyle? Maybe make him look like a beggar?

“You should at least know how to use it, right? Does she only need to eat it? Or are other preparations needed?”

“I know this! I know this! I have the instruction manual.” Then Chen Heng took out a thick book from his spatial storage. This book recorded the appearance, effects, conditions treated, usage method, and some contraindications of nearly all his medicinal pills.

As Shining watched Chen Heng check the manual, she suddenly felt he was unreliable.

It was not just Shining. Even the dazed Nightingale looked over and stared at Chen Heng.

“Very good, I understand now. Also, Nightingale, don’t look at me like that.” He could endure Shining’s looking at him, but he found Nightingale’s staring at him unbearable. He could not stand it at all.

This was especially so when Nightingale had a very pure look, making Chen Heng feel sinful.

“Oh…” Nightingale lowered her head with some doubt when she heard Chen Heng’s words.
