[TL Note: The diagnosis methods Chen Heng mentioned are the physical examination steps from traditional Chinese medicine. In contrast, modern Western medicine’s physical examination uses inspection, palpation, auscultation, and percussion. Even similar aspects of the physical examination might differ. For example, in traditional Chinese medicine, palpation involves taking the pulse and reading the pulse’s characteristics, while in modern Western medicine, palpation refers to feeling the body with the hands.
