A few Elders guarded this transportation formation.

There was a swamp below and intersecting rivers in the distance and seemingly boundless mountains even farther away.

“Would the three of you like to team up with me? The inner area of Profound Yin Island is dangerous. It would be good for us to look out for each other,” Wei He suggested, smiling at the three.

Senior Brother, Big Brother Xiao Chen, what do you think? Fei`er felt tempted. After all, an additional person would make their team stronger.

Seeing that this Wei He looked handsome and possessed an extraordinary bearing, Luo Nan quickly rejected before Xiao Chen answered. “There’s no need.”

Wei He smiled and said, “This is a pity. Let’s part here, then.”

After Wei He left, Fei`er asked, “Senior Brother, why did you reject him so quickly? He was being nice.”

Luo Nan opened his mouth to say something. However, he found that he could not explain.

Xiao Chen said calmly, “Although this Wei He appears friendly, he is here with his sect but did not follow them. Either he is used to moving about alone, or he has a bad reputation and the people of his sect do not care about him.”

Luo Nan nodded and said, “That’s right. Your senior brother’s eyes are very sharp. I have already noticed that this fellow harbored bad intentions long ago. Unexpectedly, Xiao Chen managed to see that as well. You are somewhat sharp too.”

Xiao Chen smiled and did not say anything more. He sized up the surroundings, observing the geography and terrain.
