The so-called Dragon Island was actually an extremely large miniature realm, just like the one Louie extracted from the Divine King’s Crown.

This miniature realm had formed naturally. It was created in the seam between two realms. Generally speaking, a miniature realm would gradually disappear with the passage of time, but if it was discovered and fixed with spells and other abilities then it would be greatly enhanced and stabilized.

Many miniature realms had formed in San Soliel over the past 30,000 years. As for the ancient miniature realms, they had long been destroyed during the invasion of the Terran Civilization.

In the Era of the Gods, while the Goddess of Magic was a high-tier god, many hidden magic organizations had their headquarters in miniature realms. These mages strived to operate their own territories and placed a variety of spells and traps for protection. Even the gates to said realm were hidden to maintain secrecy.

The floating island was a miniature realm called Dragon Island or Dragon’s Retirement Place. No defenses were placed on it and even the entrance was in bare sight. Almost all the people living here were elder dragons or ancient dragons that did not want to be involved with the main continent. They didn’t bother with any fancy protections or warnings.

To begin with, dragons alone were strong enough and did not need protection. In a land where dragons gathered in droves, demigods would run for their lives and even low-tier true gods would feel their scalps go numb from seeing so many of them.

It wasn’t that weak gods couldn’t beat dragons, but destroying every dragon would waste a lot of divine power. Weak gods would rather not waste divine power in a dispute against dragons. It was really more of a loss than what it was worth.

It could be said that Dragon Island was the safest place on the main continent. As long as the dragons did not heavily offend a god to the extent that both sides could not exist together, true gods would turn a blind eye to the dragons and be unwilling to waste the
