With their genetic gifts and unparalleled strength, they had no innate reason to believe in gods. Rather they prized their own abilities above all else. Even Noella, who had followed him for decades now could only barely be called his believer.

If Noella was so, then the same could be said about other dragons. As a god, Louie would not really waste twenty years trying to foster stubborn believers.

If dragons’ souls were not so powerful and valuable, then the gods would have abandoned them long ago.. A race that could not produce faith was simply unnecessary to them.
