The apprentices were introduced to an extremely mysterious world. While they were at sea, the sun had hung directly overhead, albeit obscured by clouds. But now the sky had cleared and taken in a pitch-black appearance that was peppered heavily with twinkling stars. Whereas the city night on Earth was a black haze with only occasional glimpses of the universe, here was a boundless vista of blinking dots. Among all the stars, one stood out with the most powerful glare.

This is the star that symbolized Louie, and in his divine kingdom, he towered over everything.

In this dark night sky, a tall tower stretched towards the clouds. Its black color gave it an air of mystery and surrounding it was a deep lake.

The lake was blue and clear and at a glance, one could see many mysterious species living inside. There were ugly-looking fish, strange tentacle-like creatures that wandered within it with sharp fangs, extremely long worm-like creatures, and so on and so forth.

In addition to these organisms were numerous strange plants and magical creatures that could not be seen on Earth.

“That is a bottom-dwelling magic fish. It’s born with the ability to cast magic and is hermaphroditic. If you accidentally touch its tentacles, your flesh and blood will slowly become transparent until you die. You must not approach it.”

“That is a green-footed dragon snake. Although it has “dragon” in its name, it’s in fact, closer to a snake. It is also a magical creature. Ordinary people should stay away from it.”

“That is a canine demon, an enchanted otherworldly creature.”

“This is a fire beetle. Relatively speaking, they are not powerful. Even a grown man can kill it alone, but they always come in groups. If surrounded by hundreds of them, they will burrow into your body and burn your internal organs. Hey, little ones, have you heard of the Egyptian holy beetle? This thing is similar.”
