EIF - Book 07 Chapter 015: Ferocious Demons Underground

“Uncle Flame Monarch! Gu Hai, let me out!” Jingwei roared in grief.

Jingwei’s heart crumbled at seeing the Flame Monarch self-detonating for her. When her father went missing, everyone but the Flame Monarch betrayed her. Only the Flame Monarch stood by her side, becoming her pillar of support.

However, the Flame Monarch died, and she could only watch?

Gu Hai heard Jingwei but did not let her out. It was too dangerous outside.

Coo!

A translucent phoenix spread its wings in the center of the fire.

“The phoenix deity?” The eyes of the distant, severely injured Di Shitian lit up.

Whoosh!

Gu Hai swept his sleeve out, pulling the phoenix deity and its flames into the Gu’s Immortal Firmament.

“Gu Hai, how dare you?!” Di Shitian roared furiously.

The explosion had severely injured nearly everyone.

Of the one hundred-odd experts, more than ten died. The rest were riddled with injuries, even missing limbs.

Di Shitian and the Scarlet Emperor spewed a mouthful of blood before stabilizing themselves. The Future Buddha only suffered superficial injuries, apparently not significantly affected.

“The Flame Monarch? Does he think it will all be over after he self-detonates? Humph! Your phoenix descendants on Phoenix Island will repay this debt!” the Scarlet Emperor said ferociously after wiping the blood off his lips.

“Gu Hai, where did Jingwei go?” Di Shitian asked coldly.

“Humph! Don’t bother speaking nonsense with him. Capture him!” the Scarlet Emperor shouted.

“Yes!”

The severely injured subordinates immediately charged Gu Hai.

As the Scarlet Emperor spoke, he also charged Gu Hai.

However, Gu Hai drew a bone saber from his chest.

“The Scarlet Emperor? You are the most uncouth of the five imperial lords,” Gu Hai said coldly.

“Seventh Cycle!”

Countless saber qi suddenly appeared out of nowhere, then flew at the Scarlet Emperor with Gu Hai’s saber strike.

“Humph! Uncouth? Are you qualified to say that of me?” the Scarlet Emperor snorted coldly. He took out a fiery-red saber and swung it.

Boom!
