Challenge the sages?

The spectators were shocked into silence, goggling at Gu Hai. Then, they broke out in an uproar.

“Mister Gu is challenging the sages?”

“He is joking, right? Those are sages! When they were alive, they were people who had great accomplishments in the Go Dao!”

“But Mister Gu’s Go skills are no weaker!”

“I heard that Old Mister Guan Qi also did this back then. Perhaps Mister Gu can do this!”

“Mister Gu will win!”

The spectators caused a commotion.

The sages were furious.

“You overestimate yourself! Are you trying to imitate Old Mister Guan Qi?”

“You are seeking death. Are you trying to embarrass yourself?”

“Gu Hai, you think that you are worthy of challenging us?”

The sages showed disdain.

The Supreme Genesis and the Grand Mohist narrowed their eyes. The Future Buddha did not say anything.

“Father, is Gu Hai crazy? Does he think that he is Old Mister Guan Qi?” Yehua said in disdain.

However, Ninth Young Master said, “As the host, I permit Gu Hai to challenge the sages in the second round’s Go Dao segment. Sages, if you do not compete, it will be a defeat by default. Sages, please quickly make a decision!”

“How audacious!” the sages shouted coldly.

However, Ninth Young Master looked skyward coldly, not showing any fear.

“Which sage is going first?” Gu Hai asked.

“Humph! You overestimate yourself. Since you are seeking death, then let me show you how to respect your elders!” a sage shouted.

Ninth Young Master waved his hand, and a huge Go board suddenly appeared before Gu Hai. There were black and white Go stones placed at the side.

“As the host, I permit the Go Dao sage to leave the noble spirit sea to play Go against Participant Gu Hai in the second round’s Go Dao segment!” Ninth Young Master shouted.

“Humph!” the sages snorted coldly.

The sage who spoke earlier flung his sleeves out. Then, what seemed like a beam of white light shot out and suddenly arrived at the plaza. The sage appeared before Gu Hai.

“Don’t say that I am bullying you. You may go first,” that sage said coldly.

“Many thanks!” Gu Hai said with a faint sm
