EIF - Book 05 Chapter 025: Blasting the City Lord

“Execute!” Mu Chenfeng shouted.

Then, the Elite Hall disciples swung their weapons down.

“How dare you?!” Yehua shouted in anger, his expression changing.

The Heaven Blasting Cannon aimed at Yehua made him hesitate. However, these were his subordinates, after all; he had to do something.

This scene inspired shock in the countless citizens and soldiers. This new Elite Hall Master seemed too unyielding.

Far away, Li Shenji narrowed his eyes. “To think that Gu Hai dares to openly fall out with the Solar Divine Palace.”

Li Shenji did not expect Gu Hai to be so thorough.

However, the Elite Hall disciples were utterly obedient to Gu Hai’s command. They swung their weapons down with a vengeance as if venting their resentment of being cowardly for so long.

“Stop!”

Suddenly, a loud shout came from the sky. This powerful voice contained overwhelming anger.

“City Lord!” the guards immediately greeted respectfully.

The Heavenly Chen City Lord quickly arrived in the sky above Elite Hall on a flying ship with his subordinates.

The Heavenly Chen City Lord wore official robes. He showed a furious expression as he stared at the people below.

The Heavenly Chen City Lord’s shout contained an intimidating tone, instantly causing the Elite Hall disciples to freeze in place and frown at the sky.

Gu Hai narrowed his eyes slightly as he looked up at the person shouting.

With a cold smile, he asked, “Who are you? Why are you barging into my Elite Hall?”

“Humph! I am the Heavenly Chen City Lord. Everything in Heavenly Chen City is under my purview. How is coming to your Elite Hall barging in? You must be the Elite Hall Master, right? Oh? So, you were the one who fired the Heaven Blasting Cannon, causing a disturbance among the citizens with the noise?” the Heavenly Chen City Lord said coldly.

“How is it barging? Well, you are barging in right now. Since you are the Heavenly Chen City Lord, I will not pursue this. Immediately leave my Elite Hall’s airspace. This is my Elite Hall’s matter. It is not your place to interfere,” Gu Hai shouted coldly.
