AWT - Chapter 7 - 1st Realm Breakthrough

A loud bellow of surprise came from the room that housed my crib. What did I do to deserve this? Win at life? Now I can see why failing is all rage in both my old world and this one.

Huge torrents of spiritual energy came rushing in from the outside. It covered everything in a haze of energy, giving one a refreshed feeling.

‘Oops, well that was a surprise, but I guess I’m becoming a Tan'tien Saturation Expert now.’

The spiritual energy showed no signs of stopping as it steadily rushed into Long Di’s small body, granting his body a jadelike glow.

Now don’t be surprised, so what had happened was… I disregarded the fact that I filled the 9th vessel in the Vessel Qi Gathering Stage and didn’t think I would be drawing this much attention during my first breakthrough.

My mother was in the corner with a worrisome look on her face and my father, well, he was worried too.

As for the goddess/babysitter/nanny, she was in the corner with a disinterested look. Guess she knew that in the end, everything will be fine.

Father, on the other hand, looked as if he was ready to spring into action if something happened, but what was he readying himself to do? Was he going to punch me? No, I’m sure mother would stop him.

Through my spiritual sense (yeah, I have that now, I’ll explain later) I could see the flabbergasted (That’s actually a word by the way. Weird, right?) look on their faces. Their bottom jaws also obeyed gravity way too well.
