However, people saw Heavenly Sun Noble, Violet Flame Noble and the others in addition to a few powerful elders staring at this pillar of fire with a look of trepidation.

When they turned their attention to the pillar, a harrowing scene was presented to them.

They saw two shadows fighting within this monolithic column of flames!

What literal fresh hell was this!?

How was he still alive in all of this!?

“What grade of spiritual artefact is he using that he can defend against such flames!” asked one expert incredulously.

She couldn't believe that Tan Yongzheng was able to fight such conditions under his own power.

“He's not relying on his spiritual artefact to defend against it,” stated Violet Flame Noble with a grave expression. An elder from another sect was helping him stand at the moment.

“What!?”

“Impossible!”

“How can that be!?”

Violet Flame Noble was an exceptional genius when it came to fire-attributed abilities.

Because of this, his eyes on what was happening within this towering pillar of flame held a lot of weight.

This was why when he said what he did it caused such an uproar. It turned their understanding of the world upside down!

But then... Violet Flame Noble wouldn't lie. This meant what they were seeing and what he said was as it was.

B-B-B-Boom!

Two figures fought back and forth in the pillar of flame. One figure wielded a spear whilst the other possessed a halberd.

The strikes were terrible and true for the two combatants. Killing blow after killing blow was launched in quick succession. Every blow was an explosion unto itself that threatened to break down the void!

The shockwaves generated from the fight sent waves of flames radiating in every direction!

They were deafening and terrifying. The heat and powerful shockwaves caused the surrounding space to twist and warp, obscuring the scene even more.

A battle cry crackled out amongst the clamour of battle blows! “Sapphire Dragon Collision!”

Tan Yongzheng wheeled his spear around and a draconic manifestation suddenly unfurled!
