However, they didn’t need anyone to say anything to them at this point as they turned around and fled with their tails tucked between their legs too!

Krrrsh!

****

The lightning, incensed at being provoked once more, exploded with unmatched fury!

Boom!

A deafening explosion spread out, engulfing the area once more!

It shook the heavens and caused the area for miles around to tremble unceasingly.

The sound was so deafening that even those who were in some isolated area heard it.

“What’s that!?”

“Did you see that!?!”

“Heavens!”

Since the explosion was no longer covered by the cavern, experts from all around saw the scene and made a beeline straight towards this area.

As far as they knew, this was a powerful spiritual artefact being birthed!

It was quite a while before the explosion died down. Once it was safe again, Jinzi Buxia and the others came out of the caves to see the current situation.

The mysterious lightning sphere was still there, albeit slightly smaller. They then looked upwards to see two humanoid figures and some other less humanoid-looking bodies embroiled in a fierce battle.

One of the persons fighting let loose a punch that caused space itself to shudder when one of the other less human-looking contraptions appeared in front and with a blade-like appendage slashed down towards him!

“Tch!”

He scoffed as his punch smashed into the bladed appendage, which sent the two reeling back!

Once a decent distance opened up between them, they squared off against each other with wary expressions.

By this time, some experts who were already close had a chance to see just who was fighting.

One of the figures fighting was a handsome tri-horned demon. A single protruded from the middle of his forehead, while the other two jutted from the side of his head before curving forward.

His skin was silver in both colour and hue, and he wore a robe that was a whitish silver that set off his features even more. His hair was silver as well and carried the same hue.

Nine orange cauldrons spun furiously behind him. In addition, a faint rumbling continuously rang out, which was a testament to the powerful somatic essence raging throughout his body.

“Look, isn’t that Full Metal Er Jinshu of the Iron Body Forge Sect!?”

“But who is that he’s fighting!?”

At this time, people turned their attention to his opponent and upon realising who it was sucked in a cold breath of air.

This person was skinny, practically emaciated. His skin was also pallid to the point where it appeared grey. In addition, his cheekbones were pronounced since his cheeks were sunken in as if he was malnourished. Nine orange cauldrons spun fiercely behind him as well.

Yet even more striking than all of this was what he was riding. It was no secret and was thus not unusual for cultivators who had the ability to tame magical beasts to be their mount. However, this expert was riding no such thing.

Instead, he was atop a mechanical beast of sorts. Its appearance was that of a dark gold rhino. It was a mechanical creation made up of countless gears and springs. Spikes jutted from key points on its body, and countless moving parts could be seen within. Not only that, the pressure it gave off was terrifying.

To the side was another contraption, but this one took the form of a giant praying mantis. Its body was streamlined with nary a gap to be seen and it was red from top to bottom. Its eyes continuously flickered with flashing light and its praying limbs were bladed weapons.

It was obvious at a glance that just like the rhino, it wasn’t alive, but was another mechanical creation.

Moreover, just like the rhino, it engendered fear and apprehension in the hearts of the experts who were closing in on this location.

“I-It’s Puppet Master Jixie Wudongyuzhong of the Divine Puppet Sect!?”

“What!?”

“T-That’s him!?”

When people heard this name, their hearts clenched with fear. This was a cruel expert among those in the younger generation.

Using his puppets, he killed countless experts and even took on an entire army on his own. As his puppets were impervious to pain, he was capable of massacre on a massive scale.

Jixie Wudongyuzhong like Full Metal Er Jinshu was a top expert from one of the Ten Great Sects.

The Divine Puppet Sect and their disciples practised an esoteric method of cultivation where puppets were used. The creation method of their puppets was a closely guarded secret even among those inside the sect.

No two puppets were the same, as each puppet was unique to each disciple. They were made from a standard base and built from up there by the disciple, and Jixie Wudongyuzhong was the most gifted disciple of the Divine Puppet Sect.

He alone had three puppets to himself of an exceptional grade when most disciples only had one. As their puppets were controlled by mental energy, there was a limit to just how much could be controlled at once.

So it could be seen just how impressive Jixie Wudongyuzhong was to be capable of controlling three at once, each of which was more powerful than the puppets of other disciples in the sect.

The cultivation of mental energy was why his body appeared so weak and fragile. Focusing on a simple type of energy like this would normally cause a deficit in other areas, in his case, it was his body.

He came here to find spiritual artefacts made up of rare materials that he could use to strengthen his third puppet further.

Of course, since that third puppet was destroyed, he only had two left. This made him even angrier than he was at the moment.

“It seems like Jixie Wudongyuzhong is angry!” one expert pointed out.

“It does make sense,” stated another expert who had some knowledge about the Divine Puppet Sect. “It seems like his third puppet got destroyed in the blast just now. I heard his third puppet was still in the prototype stage. If anything, he probably came into the Spiritual Bingqi Realm to bring it closer to the level of his Heavy Mad Rhino and his Blood Mantis.”

Hearing this, many experts nodded in understanding, as this did indeed make sense. It was no secret that such puppets required an enormous sum to not just create, but maintain.

“Jixie Wudongyuzhong don’t go too far!?” Full Metal Er Jinshu knew this wasn’t the case. Jixie Wudongyuzhong was just as angry when they started fighting and he had no idea why!

“Shut up!” Jixie Wudongyuzhong barked.

Full Metal Er Jinshu’s eyes narrowed upon hearing this. When had ever anyone dared to talk to him in such a way?

Even though fights between those of the Ten Great Sects weren’t uncommon, they didn’t normally go all out. But Jixie Wudongyuzhong fought as if he wanted to kill him!

However, what he didn’t know was that Jixie Wudongyuzhong was enjoying himself in the Spiritual Bingqi Realm before this. The latter even found a few rare metals and materials to finally bring his third puppet to the same level as his first two puppets.

But this all came to an end when Jixie Wudongyuzhong, who was walking through some ruins, saw a dead-faced brat, a loli and another woman he didn’t see clearly. The dead-faced brat took a glance at him and his puppets and shouted out ‘Zoids!’ before disappearing.

The word sounded so profound to him but before he had a chance to figure out what that even meant he was overcome by a fluffle of Overly Bombastic Brawler Rabbits!

Even though he was stronger at the Core Formation realm, he was nearly beaten to death!

Since his physical body was weaker than normal spiritual cultivators due to him mostly cultivating mental energy, there was no way around it. He couldn’t even react in time to command his puppets before the fluffle beat the shit out of him before they left in their pursuit of that brat and his cohorts. He had never been so humiliated in his life!

He was beaten unconscious so when he awoke, he swore he would find that brat, the loli and that other woman and make them pay for what they did to him!

Still, all this put him in an extremely bad mood. This all reached a head when he came upon a group of demons and, seeing his wretched state, and not knowing who he was, they all laughed until they were on the floor. Naturally, this pushed him over the edge and sent him on a massacre.

Of course, these demons were with Full Metal er Jinshu and their battle went on as it did until it reached this state.

Consequently, fighting Er Jinshu had allowed him to vent just enough to clear his head. In addition, seeing all the experts rushing over forced him to rein in his actions a little.

Once he calmed down enough, his gaze drifted to what everyone else was now noticing.

Full Metal Er Jinshu sighed in relief at this as well. He wasn’t afraid of Jixie Wudongyuzhong but he didn’t want to go all out which would end up with him in a weakened state.

“So this is a spiritual vein root, huh?”

“Ugh!” Lu Pei was on the ground with his butt sticking upwards, his face dug into the ground from the blow he suffered.

“Ack!” Yaomu Baiyin coughed as she was in a position held solely by those who tried a backflip only to fail. So yes, she was sitting on her face, neck and chest alone with her feet touching the back of her head. She looked jacked up.

Yaomu Shou was comfortably ensconced in the safety of Long Di’s arm.

She answered with great ecstasy, “That’s it alright!”
