Two figures on top of a moving carriage were talking where one lambasted the other while the other couldn’t care less.

One of them opened up his fist to reveal a large fist-sized grey stone that radiated with a strange energy.

“That’s the Beast Xin of the Zhendong Beetle. It doesn’t really have much of a use.”

Obviously, these two people were Long Di and Yaomu Shou.

Yaomu Shou didn’t remain angry at Long Di for fighting the Zhendong Beetle, she was angry that he nerfed himself, fought a dangerous battle whilst nerfed, and was grievously injured as a result.

Well, he said he was fine for the most part, but when Yaomu Shou saw his right arm, she blanched.

She wished he would take better care of himself.

“So it’s useless then?” he wasn’t expecting that.

She sighed and then answered. “It has some uses, but they’re very limited and it related to alchemy, and an alchemist you are not.”

“I see.” he placed it in his storage ring all the same, as he was planning to fix that in the future.

He then peered into the distance. “Is that Thousand Emo Valley?”

There was an odd dark structure a fair distance away. Two mountains that towered straight into the sky could be seen where grey clouds enveloped the peaks.

There appeared to be some buildings built within the middle of it all the way through before they disappeared from view.

“That’s Thousand Emo Valley alright,” Yaomu Shou answered.

“Is the giant stone beetle gone!?” Xiannu Liang’s voice came from within the carriage.

It’s been gone for a long time now,” Yaomu Shou replied.

They were referring to the Zhendong Beetle from earlier that Long Di drew
