“Let’s kill him,” the other one said before the first one finished his sentence. He even raised his hand to take action.

“Wait,” the first figure waved his hand to calm his colleague. “We just need to make sure the child doesn’t influence the young miss too much.”

“You know, I’ve heard that not breathing is a wonderful cure for that,” as he said this, he raised his hand once more.

“We’re not going to wantonly kill someone the young miss favours!” The old man said.

It took some time for this old man to convince his friend to not murder Long Di simply because their young miss listened to him.

“Hmph! Fine! We’ll continue to monitor him, but I don’t like it!” the old man scowled as he said this.

The other old man shook his head and didn’t pay any more attention to this rash colleague of his.

“We wish to enter the auction house, however, your attendant stopped us,” Long Di advised.

However, how could the manager of the auction house care about this!? He was currently shaking in anger while his face was red with rage at being insulted by Yaomu Shou! This girl was toxic to an unbearable degree!

“Scram!” he roared at Long Di’s group. He was a disciple of the Qian Dao Sect. Why did he need to suffer any sort of embarrassment at Long Di or this girl?

“Uhm, sir?” the attendant called out to him.

“What?” he looked at the young girl, wondering why she had called out to him right now.

“The girl,” the attendant pointed at Yaomu Shou with fearful eyes.

“What?” the man’s brow shot up in confusion.

“Look at her!” she said through gritted teeth under her breath. Why was this man so bullheaded!? Could he not see that she was trying to help?

He then looked at Yaomu Shou once more. Soon enough, his frown disappeared, then slight confusion took reign, before being replaced by a look of enlightenment, and then astonishment took hold before it finally settled on horror.

“Ya-Ya-Ya-Ya-Ya…”

“You seem to be unable to construct a coherent sentence. Maybe this can clear things up,” Long Di took out a medallion and showed it to the two of them.

When they saw this, they paled even more. The old man looked at Long Di with a gaping expression.

“Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-Y…”

‘How did it make him lose brain cells instead? Is this thing a cursed object, is this why so many cultivators are stupid beyond redemption?’

“What is happening here?” A pleasant voice drifted from within the auction house.

When the middle-aged man and the attendant saw who it was, they both lowered their heads immediately.

“Greetings, young sir, Fuyou,” the two said.

Who else could it be but Yang Fuyou? The same person that wished to build an acquaintance with Long Di.

“So it’s Long Di, how have you been?” Yang Fuyou asked with a warm smile.

When the two saw how Yang Fuyou treated Long Di, their expressions of shock deepened.

“They told me to scram,” Long Di said, pointing at the middle-aged man and the attendant with an innocent expression.

The duo naturally cried but had no tears to shed. ‘How could you screw us over like this!? Couldn’t you give us a chance!? You’re awesome, okay!?’

Yang Fuyou’s expression turned dark when he heard this, “You two dare to tell customers to scram! You dare to spit upon the teachings of the Qian Dao Sect!? How brazen of you!”

Yang Fuyou was furious. The teachings of the Qian Dao Sect were practically religion to its disciples.

In truth, both the man and the attendant weren’t true disciples. They could only be thought of as outer sect disciples at most. Yang Fuyou was the only true disciple at the location and not just that, but a very promising one at that. This was why he was given the task of overseeing the auction house; to see how much wealth he could bring in. He would be graded on his performance and this would determine his standing in the sect.

How could he bear two people who wished to be disciples looking down on the Qian Dao Sect’s teachings!?

“Will you scram on your own, or should I help you along?” Yang Fuyou was struggling to keep himself in check. Not only had they insulted a customer, they even went as far as offending two existences they should never offend.

The first was Yaomu Shou. Her existence was something that not even the Qian Dao Sect wouldn’t want to offend, and Long Di, who was given a medallion. The medallion meant that this was a valuable customer that must be treated especially well. They were a business, after all, and they had to make sure to take care of their VIPs.

Now the two were regretting that they acted like this. They looked towards Long Di, hoping he could help them.

Long Di saw this and decided to intervene.

“Wait,” he said, causing Yang Fuyou to pause.

“Customer Long?” If Long Di decided to drop the issue, then he naturally wouldn’t pursue it.

Pointing at the middle-aged man, he said, “He also said he was the master of the auction house.”

‘Shit!’

Pu!

Not just the duo, even Yaomu Shou, and the rest of Long Di’s group nearly choked in astonishment!

Long Di was too petty, wasn’t he!?

He could have left it here and the two would have naturally been chased out. But now, not only did Long Di push them off a cliff, he then peed on them as they fell, flipped them off, and then invited sharks to gorge themselves on their corpses!

“I’m petty,” Long Di shrugged his shoulders.

‘So you admit it!? You’re too shameless!’

“Get Oooouuttt!!!!” Yang Fuyou landed a kick on the butt of the duo. The force behind the kick sent the two airborne, and before long, they became a tiny dot in the distance.

Yang Fuyou took a moment to reorganise himself and before long, he reassumed that same warm spring breeze-like smile as he looked at Long Di and his friends. “Esteemed customers, please enter.”

“Why thank you,” Long Di said as he entered. Yaomu Shou stepped in, followed by everyone else.

Long Di was a simple man. If you were good to him, he would treat you… decent-ish, but if you insult him, he would screw you over to near or absolute madness.

Yang Fuyou led them along for a while and when the other workers in the auction house saw this, they were stunned!

Who was Yang Fuyou? He was a disciple that an elder of the Qian Dao Sect looked highly upon, yet he took the initiative to lead the way for Long Di and his group personally!

He brought everyone to a private box. “Long Di, you and your friends can partake in the auction from here.”

When Yaomu Shou saw this, her brow rose in astonishment. “Hm.”

After leading them up to there, he excused himself. “I have other matters to attend to, so I will excuse myself here.”

He bowed and quickly left. Long Di opened the door and entered the private box. Everyone apart from Yaomu Shou entered. She looked in the direction that Yang Fuyou left in for a while longer before entering the box with everyone else.
