Ji Fanyin was stopped by Father Li in the corridor.

With his arm still outstretched, the middle-aged man regarded her solemnly, “You are still required here.”

“No, my job here is done.” Ji Fanyin insisted. She turned her head to look at Li Xiaoxing and explained, “He knows what he needs to do to recover.”

Father Li followed her line of sight to look at Li Xiaoxing and frowned.

“The key is whether he is willing to do so or not.” Ji Fanyin continued, “Sometimes, it is impossible to wake a person from his pretend slumber, isn’t that right?”

Without waiting for a reply, she circled past Father Li’s outstretched arm and walked away. This time, he did not stop her.

Not wanting to get close to Ji Xinxin was one thing but the main reason was to deny Ji Xinxin of any opportunity to frame her in case of any unforeseen circumstances.

“No, who instructed you to come to this room? Is it Li Xiaoxing or Li Mingyue?” Ji Xinxin asked aggressively, “What are they planning now? Do they want to take my child…”
