The box held a number of items in it. Most of them were foreign to Song Shiyu.

However, there were also a number of them he recognised.

A few of them were the birthday presents he had gotten for ‘Ji Fanyin’ which he had picked based on the recommendation of the sales assistant while he was carefully picking out presents for Ji Xinxin.

Song Shiyu reached for the bottle of tequila and downed a mouthful straight from the bottle as he laid the items on the table one by one and racked his brains to identify them.

Before he knew it, the bottle of tequila was down to its last drop and he had only managed to identify one-third of the items there.

But that was already enough to let him know the nature of the items here.

It was the very affection Song Shiyu knew only to appreciate after he realized his own feelings.

By the time he opened his eyes, he was covered in cold sweat and could not move his limbs. Luckily, he could still operate the virtual assistant installed on his handphone. Using whatever little strength in him, he called his assistant for help.

Song Shiyu continued to lie on his sofa panting. He grabbed at his chest and grimaced while thinking of the news he saw some time back about a young couple’s sudden death after burning the midnight oil.
