Old Cat could only hug Ma Lao-er and comfort him by patting his back.

Two hours later, on the second floor of a building.

Coco glanced upward at the ceiling as she twirled her hair before knocking lightly on Qin Yu’s door.

“Who is it?” Little Qi shouted through the door.

“It’s me, Coco.”

“Come in,” Qin Yu replied as he pulled up a blanket to cover his body.

The door opened, and Coco entered the room alone. After scanning the room, she said with a serious face, “Get your friend to head out for a while. Let’s have a talk.”

“There’s no need to do it behind his back,” Qin Yu said from the bed. “He’s my brother, and he doesn’t dabble in medicine either.”

Coco shot an assessing gaze at Little Qi before she finally sat down on a chair beside Qin Yu’s bed.

Qin Yu looked at Coco, who was dressed in a leather jacket and jeans, and he remarked with a chuckle, “Wow, your getup today sure is simple.”
